◎「Tokyo"Tradional Japan"」（日本文化を体験する会）
創作書道を体験し、能、狂言の解説を聞き、鼓体験、抜刀演舞をダイジェストして
各国大使館員などに紹介、体験する会を昨年に続き開催します。
（昨年は東京伝統探訪ツアーとしてバスで（浮世絵刷り、忍者、神楽坂）を回り、大好評でした。

心書について
「心書」は、型にとらわれず、書くことを通して心の奥底にある本当の思いやありのままの感情を
筆を通して自由に表現する方法です。決まりや正解、ルールのない自由な世界です。
プロフィール：
美術大学でグラフィックデザインを学び、広告代理店を経てデザイン会社を設立。
明治大学で日本文学。お茶の水女子大学でフェミニズムアート。東京大学先端研で
ユニバーサルデザイン研究。
現在 筑波大学大学院にて日本語文字の『読みやすさ』研究を行っている。
◎狂言師：善竹十郎（ぜんちく じゅうろう）
故善竹圭五郎の長男。
父及び、祖父故善竹彌五郎、大蔵流２４世宗家故大藏彌右衛門
に師事。重用無形文化財総合指定保持者。
（社）能楽協会・日本能楽会会員。
昭和５８年芸術選奨文部大臣新人賞・平成５年大阪文化祭賞受賞
早稲田大学政経学部卒。早稲田大学エクステンションセンター
桐朋学園芸術短大・帝京平成大学講師。

a rare opportunity to experience Japanese traditions and cultures like never before.
Even for those who have lived in Tokyo for a long time there are still many things
and places left to explore.

＊Optional visit to Izakaya, a Japanese bar after the event for jpy3,000
1.Shodo(Calligraphy), Nowadays, even formal letters and thank-you letters are
all printed using a computer. While modern technology is useful, hand-written
letters are more effective in conveying our true thoughts and feelings.
In these recent times where the art of calligraphy is waning, why not try
using a traditional Japanese calligraphy brush to put some of your thoughts
down on paper.Using a brush is not as difficult as is seems. In fact,
as penmanship improves, a unique sense of accomplishment and pleasure can be
found from writing with a brush.
2.Noh kyogen Play and Tsuzumi(shoulder-drum) Kyogen is the classical comic theater
which balances the more serious Noh. While Noh is musical in nature, Kyogen
emphasizes dialogue
3.Batto(demonstration of drawing the sword)The discipline of the drawn-sword
technique in Swordsmanship, or 'batto', was vital in times of war to protect
oneself and one's community, and in turn, to protect and serve the reigning
lord of the land.

○２０１４年１１月２９日「東京伝統探訪ツアー」が ケーブルテレビ（JCOMみなと新宿）「週刊みなしんワイド」 で様子が放映されました。

○ケーブルテレビ（JCNみなと新宿）の１２月６日「週刊みなしんワイド」で様子が
放映されました。
◎１１月２９日「東京伝統探訪ツアー」レポート
１１月２９日、東京にある伝統日本を探訪するツアーを行いました。
待ち合わせの昼時の雨がバスで移動しているうちに上がってきて、
丁度いい気候に。
最初の浮世絵彫師、刷師の教室は英国人のデザイナーが通訳、
刷りに使う馬簾は１つがなんと〜１０万円するそうですが
ペルー大使やマレーシア大使館員、Amia会員豪州のレイさん、
Amia日本人会員、が刷りに挑戦、まぁまぁ３色刷れました。
次の忍者屋敷では忍者の歴史と道具の解説、忍者姿の組み手など
演技と当主の完璧な英語の説明で外国人も日本人も楽しめました。
当主はスペイン語も話せるのでペルー大使夫妻とも話が進んでいました。
ラストは英語ガイドつきで神楽坂の小径をそぞろ歩き、途中で現役の芸者
とすれ違うなど情緒あふれるひと時でした。
参加者は満足されたことと思います。また来年の企画も進行中です。

集まった在日外国大使館の方々とバスで巡る東京伝統探訪ツアー。
外国人的な視点で日本を再発見する愉しさ。海外旅行先では現地の観光を
くまなくチェックするのに意外と灯台もと暗しだったと痛感。最初に訪れたのは
浮世絵工房。狭い工房内で実際に三色刷り体験をしたが、簡単そうに見えて、
難しく朱色がうまく刷れずに血まみれな猫になってしまう始末。いかに浮世絵
が高度な技術なのか実感。お次は忍者屋敷。とはいえ、外観はそう見えなか
ったが、中は薄暗く黒装束に身を包んだ武蔵一族が九字を切るとそこの空気
が清められた。手裏剣は、成功しても失敗しても隙を見せない鍛錬という。
やってみると、これまた難しい。
最後に神楽坂の毘沙門天をスタ−ト。江戸時代の花街時代のお話を案内して
もらっていたら、50年前15歳で舞妓だったＹさんに遭遇。今は70歳近いと
おっしゃるが相変わらず着物を小粋に着こなしていらっしゃった。

1.Ukiyoe StudioUkiyoe should be one of most famous and representative art of Japan in
the world.It is great total art by well trained and talented masters of traditional craft
with their sophisticated and fragile designing, sculpting and printing technics.
We guide you to the school of Ukiyoe block prints and the master Asaka will show you how
these great Ukiyoe works were created and printed with your own trial.
2.Ninja HouseWhat/who is Ninja? - Lecture in English and performance The eighteenth head
of Musashi Family will talk about the current status.
3.Strolling in Kagurazakawhere a Geisha culture still exists - English guide included
We will see Kenban office which handles reservations and training of Geisha, Bishamonten
Temple, Ryotei, first class Japanese-style restaurants along the stone-paved alleys in
Kagurazaka where Showa Era atmosphere still remains.
