An Outline of Inter-Embassy [the 3rd Int'l 3x3 Basket ball Tournament]
1) Date: Saturday 9th June 2018
2) Time: 12:30-13:30 Warming-up/training on a voluntary basis (2 courts are available)
13:40-Opening ceremony 14:00-17:30 3x3 Basket ball games (2 courts are available)
3) Place: Minato-ku Sports Center (indoor) 1-16-1 Shibaura Minato-Ku
TEL:03-3452-4151 5minutes' walk from the Tamachi Station of JR Yamanote Line
4) The number of team members = Up to 6 players including embassy staff.
Both sexes, business people or students are okayed.
Japanese players are less than 50 percent.
5) Duration of a match: 8 minutes
6) Special rules to be applied: e.g. If a female player gets a goal point, this will be counted as two goal points.

第１回 大使館対抗「国際３X３バスケ大会」
オリンピック種目となった「国際３X３バスケ大会」を初めて開催。
ブルネイ、米国、中国、日本外務省の４ヶ国大使館８チームで行った。
優勝はブルネイ大使館チーム、準優勝は米国大使館チーム。
初めての大会だったが、音楽が入り、DJが試合実況するなどフットサル大会とは
また趣の違う大会の雰囲気だった。
その攻防はスリリングで目が離せない。結果は最後にエントリーしたブルネイ大使館チーム
がフィリッピン職員らの活躍で（フィリッピンはバスケット大国）優勝。米国は２位と３位でした。
参加各国チームは次回も開催希望とのことだった。
